What it costs
Pilot in production: accounts, listings, requests, proposals, orders and chat run on a live database. Payments run in demo mode while the payment accounts are being connected — the escrow logic (held → released or refunded) is already the real one.
Questions
What does it cost to publish?
Nothing. Publishing a service or posting a request is free, and buyers pay no fee. The marketplace charges 10% to the professional, and only on work that closes.
How is the payment protected?
The amount is held in escrow when the job starts. It is released to the professional when the buyer approves the delivery, or refunded to the buyer if the job is cancelled.
Can I be a buyer and a seller?
Yes, with the same account. The Orders tab shows both sides separately: what you are buying and what you are selling.
What if the delivery is not what I asked for?
You do not release the payment. Every order has a private chat to sort it out, and while the money is held you can cancel and get refunded.
What kind of services fit here?
